Joel Schueler ~ out

Sorrow depicted in a murky wharf.
Look how it rolls, streaming to reach the hollow precipice.
Foolish acts and strange reactions:
black kismet.
Heated searing twin temples up ahead emit such disarming disquiet;
O how it blows,
Pouring out there in the driving rain
Your heart is clear while mine is maimed,
Muzzled in a broken cage
Splintered brain asunder

Joel Schueler lives in Wiltshire, England and has had eight works published in six places, namely The Aberystwyth Writing Project, Atlantean Publishing, Inclement Publishing, Scars Publications, Apollo’s Lyre and The Dawntreader. He is working on his first novel.
