John Rouleau ~ Five Haiku

what could never be
slowly dies a quiet death
unknown but to me


Like treading water…
I’m a helicopter baby.
Me, grabbing for air.


Tiny Chinese boy
Waves at me and toddles by
Master thief of hearts


rhythm of my life
work and dinner and dishes
right enough by me


the sound of rain
sneaks up on me
in a drought year
