Laura McLaughlin A SEVEN YEAR SONG

A SEVEN YEAR SONG

Laura McLaughlin

Oh Arianette, oh marionette,
Oh Polonette, my little Ludlud,
What carrion yet doth carry you
Yet back, back to the crime scene
Not even caught yet yet you
Like to wrap your wrists up in
The police tape when you think no one
Is looking at nothing is
Happening except that Arianette,
My marionette,
My impossibly proud and wet
Silly Polly Jean Pocket,
My pretty Polonette…
